The construction materials engineering and testing services of PaveTex Engineering and Testing, Inc. provide the accurate testing and quality control that a client needs to meet project budgets and specifications, construction schedules, and governmental regulations. PaveTex offers a full range of field and laboratory testing services, as well as professional engineering services, for analyzing asphalt, aggregate, base, concrete, and other pavement materials.

Testing Services:

Our laboratory is equipped with the newest technology and is staffed with certified technicians under the direction of a licensed engineer to ensure quality, timely testing of materials. One of the features of the laboratory is the Hamburg Wheel Tracking Device, which is an accelerated testing machine for evaluating susceptibility of Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) to moisture damage and rutting. In addition to the laboratory services, PaveTex also has professional, experienced employees out in the field meeting the testing needs of our clients. The Dynatest Road Surface Profiler (RSP), which is carefully designed to provide an advanced, automated, high-quality pavement roughness and related measurements of longitudinal profile is a highlight of our field testing services. With the experience of our technicians and the resources available through the laboratory, PaveTex is well equipped to supply all of your quality control/quality assurance testing and consulting needs.

Engineering Services:

   

In addition to our testing services, PaveTex also works with its clients to provide design specification services, which includes complete forensic services covering inspection, analysis and recommendations for remedial action. PaveTex specializes in the design and testing for TxDOT, SuperpaveTM,FAA, and municipal asphalt specifications and offers complete engineering services in the following areas: TxDOT certified mix designs Marshall mix design Superpave mix design New product designs using recyclable materials and moisture susceptible additives
