With a working knowledge of today considerations for the design and placement of all types of asphaltic flexible pavements, our laboratory can ensure that not only the materials being used in the mixture, but also the end product will be durable, and perform properly under the materials specific application. Mix designs are optimized by Marshall, Hveem and SUPERPAVE test methods. Our laboratory has the capability to perform all local, state, and federal testing. With our laboratory having these capabilities we are able to ensure the quality of the pavement, from selection of the individual materials to the turn over to the end user is the highest quality. Some notable capabilities of our laboratory beyond an impressive array of the usual equipment are the Hamburg Wheel Track Machine, Overlay tester, and Resilient Modulus apparatus. |

Our laboratory maintains a complete set of SUPERPAVE asphalt binder testing equipment, which includes dynamic shear rheometer (DSR), bending beam rheometer (BBR), pressure aging vessel, rolling thin films oven (RTFO), and a Brookfield viscometer. Along with the SUPERPAVE equipment we also have capable to evaluate ductility, flash & softening point, and penetration to name a few. Access to this equipment, enables our firm to prove data in areas such as performance grading, asphalt rubber and emulsion blends. |
